Seminar on “REACH, CLP and Responsible Care”

Romanian Chemical Producers and Distributors Association - APDCR organized on November 4, 2014 in Bucharest, the seminar "REACH, CLP and Responsible Care Initiative".

The seminar was organized in cooperation with the National Environmental Protection Agency-NEPA and sponsored by the European Chemical Industry Council, CEFIC

In the opening speech Mr. Claudiu Tuncu, APDCR President, made a presentation about the mission, vision and objectives of the association in the current conjuncture of the chemical industry in Romania. Ms. Mariana Mihalcea, Head of Chemicals Department, National Environmental Protection Agency spoke about Romanian authorities involved in implementing the chemicals legislation, and Mr. Dr. Erwin Annys, Policy Director at Cefic REACH department has reviewed CEFIC preoccupations concerning the topics addressed in this event.

The event was attended by over 110 people, academics, University Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Society of Romania, representatives from the chemical industry, manufacturers and importers from fields like cosmetics, detergents, lubricants, petrochemicals, materials construction, cement, paints, crop protection products, representatives of the Romanian Paint Industry Association, Romanian Crop Protection Association, Romanian Union of Cosmetics and Detergents Manufacturers, Patronage of the Producers and Importers of Lubricants, Chemicals and Automotive Accessories, Romanian Patronage of the Cement Industry and other Mineral Products for Constructions, Association of the Constructions Materials Producers from Romania, representatives from National Environmental Protection Agency, Labour Inspectorate, Defense Ministry, National Environmental Guard, National Authority for Consumer Protection.
